The irregularly shaped, tactile pink bronze table top, cast in a fingerprint pattern reminiscent of ripples of sand on the seabed, perches so lightly upon its tripod base that it almost appears to float. Visually delicate and yet functionally robust, the table is a contemporary iteration of an ancient design.

With a tabletop that rests so lightly upon its two scroll-like bases that it gives the impression of floating, the generous dimensions of this piece exceed the requirements of a coffee table and in so doing, imbue it with a presence that verges on the primal. An exploration of the power of over-scaling.
